Intelligrated® (www.intelligrated.com), a leading North American-owned automated material handling solutions provider, announces its Alvey GS100 family of palletizers, the latest entry-level addition to its existing line of Alvey palletizers and depalletizers. The Alvey GS100 series provides a durable, reliable automated solution at an affordable price with the same high-quality, flexible and robust construction that are trademarks of Intelligrated's industry-leading Alvey palletizers.
Capable of speeds up to 30 cases per minute, the Alvey GS100 family of palletizers is well-suited for large, multi-line palletizing projects or smaller operations interested in converting from manual to automatic palletizing for ergonomic or labor-saving reasons. Ideal for a wide array of applications including food, beverage, consumer goods and general manufacturing, the series features a compact, modular design with a small footprint for facilities with limited floor space.
"The Alvey GS100 line of palletizers is ideal for operations looking to automate their palletizing operations, but where high-speed palletizing is not cost-justified," said Steve Ackerman, executive vice president, Intelligrated. "Depending on the implementation, these palletizers are so cost-effective that they can bring an ROI within months of installation, reducing labor costs, boosting total volume and increasing uptime."
The Alvey GS100 series offers a complete range of pallet-handling options, from the Alvey GS120 (manual pallet handling) to the Alvey GS130 (semi-automated pallet handling) and the Alvey GS140 (fully- automated pallet handling). Operators can easily create, store and change patterns using the palletizer's pattern utility function and touchscreen Operator Interface Terminal (OIT).
The Alvey GS100 series includes:
The Alvey GS120 low-speed palletizer with manual pallet handling. Once a load is completed, it is removed and another empty pallet is manually positioned in the load build cavity.
The Alvey GS130 low-speed palletizer with semi-automated pallet handling. Once a load is built on an empty pallet on the chain conveyor, it is automatically discharged from the load build cavity and another empty pallet is conveyed into position. Empty pallets are manually fed one at a time into an opening under the row former.
The Alvey GS140 low-speed palletizer with fully-automated pallet handling. Once a load is built on an empty pallet on the chain conveyor, it is automatically discharged from the load build cavity and an empty pallet is automatically dispensed. Empty pallets are delivered via forklift to a lift and separate pallet dispenser with a 10 pallet capacity.
