SMW Autoblok, a global leader in the workholding and clamping industry, is pleased to introduce the newest addition to their extensive line of steady rests: the SRG Grinding Steady Rest.

Specifically designed to support shaft type work pieces on grinding machines, the SRG line is ideal for crankshaft and camshaft applications. Three sizes are available, providing a clamping diameter range of 20 to 85mm.

Horizontal and vertical fine adjustments of the grinding center make high precision grinding possible. In combination with the retractable arms, these allow for rapid set up, making this unique steady rest suitable for follow down grinding as well.

As with many of our steady rest designs, the SRG line also features a port for compressed air, stroke control and central lubrication.
